CCFD Girls Camp

The mission of the CCFD Girls Camp is to introduce young adults, ages 13-18, to a career in public safety.  The program is designed to provide individuals with a realistic hands-on introduction to firefighting and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) skills.  Over the course of two days, campers will learn how to wear personal protective equipment, climb ladders, pull fire hose, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and more. Each student will be supervised by firefighters in a safe and physically challenging environment, with an emphasis on building self-confidence and fortitude.

The CCFD Girls Camp is a free two-day day camp. All teens, ages 13-18, are welcome to attend. Participants must register in advance.

All donations from this page go directly to the Girls Camp Program to help reach more young adults and allow them to get involved with the fire service.

MAKE A CHILD SMILE

The Culver City Firefighters Foundation, in proud partnership with the Culver City Fire Department, is excited to present Make a Child Smile—a heartfelt initiative dedicated to bringing the joy of the holiday season to families in need within our Culver City community.

With the generous support of local businesses, Make a Child Smile will provide children from Culver City schools the opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts, accompanied by Culver City Firefighters. This unforgettable experience aims to create lasting memories and brighten the holidays for our young residents.

This meaningful event is made possible entirely through donations from our local business community. Together, we can ensure that every child has a reason to smile this Christmas—creating a special experience for Culver City residents, by Culver City businesses.

We invite you to join us in making a difference. Your partnership and support are deeply appreciated.
